Kwan Yau

and his team are students from the School of Creative Media at City University of Hong Kong. Their project, Blooms, utilizes footage of flowers blooming in a garden, marking Kwan's first collaboration with his team in abstract and experimental animation. This collaboration posed challenges in synchronizing sound and visuals, as well as in depicting the flickering flowers. Kwan hopes to create a unique experience that reflects the blooming process of flowers, showcasing life unfolding before the audience's eyes. He also expresses special gratitude to his teammates for their support in achieving the animation's fluidity and sound design, this a memorable experience for all of us.
