An abstract flickering animation that sits precariously between the digital and the analog. The film highlights the luminous scratches, dust and Letraset materially present and placed on the original film, all to the layered beat of Viola Smith's drumming. 

Abstraktna, utripajoča animacija, ki lovi negotovo ravnotežje med digitalnim in analognim. Film v ospredje postavlja sijoče praske, prah in črke Letraset, ki so fizično prisotni in naneseni na izvirni filmski trak, vse to pa se odvija ob večplastnem ritmu bobnanja Viole Smith.

is Hon. Professor of Screen  and  Design at Deakin  University, Melbourne, Australia. He has made numerous animations, performance and installation work over the last 50 years. Retrospectives of his animations screened at Melbourne International Animation Festival, Punto Y Raya, Germany and Alternativa, Belgrade, Serbia in 2016 and Cineinfinito, Spain (2019-20) His publications on trauma, the technical image, surveillance and pattern recognition have been published internationally.
