Élodie tries to find out more about her family's Armenian origins. She interviews her father, her uncle, her great aunt, and discovers a harsh history where violence and the inability to express love are passed down from generation to generation.

Elodie želi izvedeti več o armenskih koreninah svoje družine. Prek pogovorov z očetom, stricem in prateto odkrije kruto preteklost, v kateri se nasilje in nezmožnost izražanja ljubezni prenašata iz roda v rod.

Élodie Dermange

born in 1992 in Geneva, Switzerland. 2012 Received degree in illustration from Geneva School of Applied Arts. 2019 Degree in Animation from La Poudrière in Bourg lès Valence. Her first short INTIMITY (2017) was awarded the Grand Prize in Tampere. In 2019 she completed her training at La Poudrière in Bourg lès Valence, where she directed her graduation film INÈS. ARMAT premiered in competition at DOK Leipzig in 2022.
