Composed of 300 hand-crafted ceramic tiles, this music video constructs a fragile universe from dirt itself. As tiles shift and landscapes slowly transform, the animation reflects the quiet progression of time, revealing moments of growth, stillness, and subtle change.

Julia Fernandez

is an multidisciplinary artist, animator, and director exploring the relationships between motion, rest, and the physical object. Her practice transforms inherently static materials, such as ceramic stonewear, into objects charged with movement, working against the permanence that defines them. Based in Brooklyn, NY, Julia earned her BFA in Interactive Media Arts from NYU Tisch (‘23). She has been recognized by Vimeo Staff Picks, It’s Nice That, Colossal, Creative Boom, Director’s Library, and GIPHY Artists to Watch. Commercial clients include The New York Times, West Elm, VICE, and Spotify.
