Hugo Huang

is known for her fusion of dough figurine craft and stop-motion animation. Her films combine hand-crafted sensibility with layered storytelling, exploring solitude, identity, and social change. Her short "Bart" (2017) won the Golden Harvest Award, and "Where Am I Going?" (2018) received the Golden Horse Award for Best Animated Short. Later works such as "Little Hilly" and "Anthropocene" expanded her vision into cultural allegories. Her film "Pai Pai" intertwines a child’s imagination with reality, continuing her pursuit of authentic cinematic expression.
