A tender, imaginative animation about a child’s difficult emotions which emerge after an argument between her parents in the morning. Thanks to her mother, a writer of fairy tales, an ordinary bowl of porridge transforms into a metaphorical journey towards understanding and acceptance.

Nežna in domišljije polna animacija o težkih čustvih deklice, ki na dan privrejo po jutranjem prepiru njenih staršev. Po zaslugi mame, pisateljice pravljic, se navadna skleda ovsene kaše prelevi v metaforično potovanje k razumevanju in sprejemanju.

Izabela Plucińska

is a director of animated films. Born in Poland, she has lived in Berlin for 20 years. She is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz and of Film Animation at the Cinematography Department of the Lodz Film School, where she also completed her Ph.D. and was promoted to doctor habilitated in the of Fine Arts. She specializes in animation in clay. She has made 18 films, including “Jam Session” (2005), winner of the Silver Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival. She is currently a lecturer at the Academy of Art in Szczecin. As a producer, she produced films with her own company Claytraces until 2023. In 2024, she founded a production company with another animation director 'Wait a Second Film’ in Berlin. Her latest film is “JOKO,” inspired by a short novel by Roland Topor. It is a Polish-German-Czech co-production.
