Marta Gennari

born in 1992, in Italy. Marta Gennari studied at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (Turin). Her film "Merlot" won the 2018 Emile Award. She then joined at La Poudrière school (Valence), where she directed "Bigoudis" (selected for Annecy, Clermont-Ferrand, etc.). She has worked as adirector, storyboard artist and animator on many productions, then in 2021, she co-founded the collective Les Optimistes (running introductory workshops on animated film).
