In a city consumed by fire, Nina, a ceramist, faces a creative crisis in isolation. As she shapes clay, her inner world collapses into form, where matter and emotion transform through water, fire, and ash.

Joseph Specker Nys
is a Brazilian-Uruguayan director, screenwriter and production designer based in Florianópolis, Brazil. Working in stop motion, his films explore materiality, memory and transformation through a handcrafted and author-driven approach. His debut short film The “Feather Pillow” (2018) screened at over 80 international festivals, including Annecy, Sitges, Encounters and Interfilm Berlin. His second short film, “LODO” (2026), a Brazil–Uruguay co-production, premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR). He is currently developing his first feature film, “Reciclotopía”.
