Battery Grandma actively works inside Dong-gu’s grandma’s blood pressure monitor and radio. One summer during his school break, Dong-gu visits his grandma’s place in the countryside.

Jeon Seungbae

is an animation director and picture book author.  His notable works include "Battery Grandma" (2025), "Battery Mommy" (2023), "Battery Daddy" (2020), and "Saturday’s Apartment" (2018). He received the Best Director Award at the 2022 Seoul International Children’s Film Festival and the Minister’s Award from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism at the Korea Content Awards. "Battery Mommy" and "Battery Daddy" have been screened at over 100 film festivals worldwide and have won awards in 17 countries, including the U.S., France, Japan, and Belgium. His picture books, including "Battery Mommy", "Battery Dadday", and "Kung Kung Apartment", have been published in translated editions in countries such as Taiwan and Japan.
