Oleksandr Isaienko
is a Ukrainian artist working across photography, experimental film, text, and digital media. Born in 1976 in Izmail (then part of the UkrSSR), he has developed a distinctive visual language that explores the human body, transformation, and vulnerability within unknown and shifting environments. His work often engages with themes such as decay, confrontation with the unknown, ecological and political collapse, and the boundaries of human perception. Through hybrid techniques combining analog footage, AI-generated imagery, and generative sound, Isaienko creates visual experiments that blur distinctions between natural and digital, organic and artificial, intimate and vast. He currently lives and works in San Diego, California.
