Max Winston
is a cartoon-obsessed California Weirdo. While enrolled in the Experimental Animation program at Calarts, his short film I live in the Woods received an honorable mention at Sundance 2009 and was a finalist for the Student Academy Awards. Since then, Max has worked on shows such as Robot Chicken, Spongebob Squarepants and Uncle Grandpa, while running his own studio as well. With his company, RatBat studios, Max has developed original cartoon shows with entities such as Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network. When not making music and playing concerts with his “goo-core-punk” band THE MANX, Max focuses on bringing new visions to the world through animation, with the intent to blast minds into oblivion like a heavy riff from beyond.
