Anja Giele

was born in Taiwan and moved six times before the age of 16, across three continents, and lived in seven cities. Through her personal experiences with different cultures and people, as well as her professional work in the Berlin advertising industry and various project-based work, she has been able to gather diverse impressions and draw inspiration. Starting in 2018, she studied “Motion Pictures” at the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt and completed internships at the film equipment rental company MBF in Frankfurt as well as a researcher and directors assistant at “Bacon", a well-known production company in Copenhagen. Also, she has spent an exchange semester in Taipei at the National Taiwan University of Arts in 2024. Her projects are characterized by a high artistic standard, a strong focus on the art department, and often explore questions of identity and existential crises. Since 2021, she has been studying directing for advertising at the Filmakademie Baden Würrtemberg.
