A ray of light reveals a face in the darkness. A tear leaks from its right eye, crosses the face and falls into the abyss. The tear takes us to an inner place of suffering, where pain overshadows sanity.

Svetlobni žarek v temi razkrije obraz. Iz desnega očesa spolzi solza, prepotuje obraz in pade v brezno. Solza nas popelje v notranji kraj trpljenja, kjer bolečina zasenči zdrav razum.

Giulia Falciani

was born and raised in Florence, Italy and works as an animator in Berlin. In her work, she plays with different materials and techniques to fully exploit the possibilities of the medium of animation: from traditional drawings and stop-motion to digital animations and experiments with light and different textures. Her films have been shown at numerous national and international festivals. She regularly collaborates with artists from different backgrounds to realize theatrical performances, music videos and documentaries. She is the co-founder of the Berlin based animation studio STUDIO FAZI.
