Workshot: Stop motion animation workshop for children with Lene Lekše

Maribor Puppet Theatre, September 20th-September 23rd, 2023

In the workshop, we will create a short animated film in the stop-motion animation technique. Together, we will write a concept, create the storyboard, build the characters and backgrounds and finally, equip the film with sound. We will work with waxed wool for a better transition from 2D line drawings to working in a 3D space. Our inspiration is prohibited medieval literature and the mysterious Voynich manuscript from the 15th century, written in an unknown encrypted language that is yet to be deciphered. The workshop will be led by Lene Lekše and assisted by Brina Fekonja.
