Nos ali zarota odpadnikov / The Nose or the Conspiracy of Mavericks /Nos ili zagovor ne takikh (Нос, или Заговор нетаких)
Andrey Khrzhanovski (Šola in studio za animacijo SHAR)
2020, Rusija, 89'

Film, postavljen v prvo polovico 20. stoletja, govori o velikem Stalinovem terorju. Zgodba prepleta zgodovinska ozadja in biografije z mojstrovinami ruskih avantgardnih slikarjev, skladateljev in pisateljev v težkem obdobju totalitarizma.

Set in the period of the first half of the 20th century, the film speaks of the great terror of Stalin. The story combines historical sets, biographies and masterpieces of Russian avant-garde artists, composers and writers during the difficult period of totalitarianism. It is a loose adaptation of The Nose by Nikolai Gogol and the opera The Nose by Dmitri Shostakovich. The film can be defined as “polygenre”, as it combines elements of drama, essay, biopic and tragedy, musical film and grotesque.
