An old and proud eagle is starving in a stormy, desolate mountain landscape. Lured by a mirage, it discovers some carrion. The eagle is tempted to fortify itself, but does not go against its nature never to eat carrion. But due to the desperate and hopeless situation, the spirit of doom manages to seduce the weak eagle.

Star in ponosen orel je sestradan sredi viharne, opustošene gorske pokrajine. Mamljiv privid ga pripelje do mrhovine. Okrepitev ga mika, a se upira skušnjavi, ostaja zvest svoji naravi in je ne poje. A oslabljen orel je v obupni in brezupni situaciji ter duhu pogube mu ga uspe zapeljati.

Johan Oettinger (Director)

A self-taught prize winning Danish film director – his specialty is stop-motion puppet animation. His first professional film, „Seven Minutes in the Warsaw Ghetto” (2012), was shown at more than 120 festivals and won many prizes, including a special mention in annecy, france, as well as the Kingbonn Award - the most prestigious short film award in China. In 2015 he finished walk with me together with Ugandan director Peter Tukei Muhumuza. Johan’s stop-motion studio was established in 2006 in Aarhus, Denmark.

Urtė Oettinger (Director)

Lithuanian animation film director, animator, painter and lector. She graduated the Estonian Academy of Arts with her film „Song of Songs” (2010). Urtė’s debut film „Independence Day” (2012) was awarded as the best Lithuanian animation film of the year. In her creative work Urtė experiments with different animation techniques, including stop motion, rotoscoping, hand drawn and painted animation. Urtė is a member of the Lithuanian Film Academy and the Danish Animation Union. At the moment she lives and works in Aarhus, Denmark.

Christophe Peladan (Chief Animator)

A French animator who has worked on many stop motion projects in France, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark and China. His best-known work is „The Pirates, a Band of Misfits” (2012), made at Aardman Animation studio. Besides animating, Christophe is a scenographer and director. His stop-motion animation film „Goutte d’Or” (2013), has been shown in major film festivals around the world.

Agnė Adomėnė (Producer)

A founder and producer of an independent production company Art Shot, that focuses on developing and producing short artistic animated films. Founded in 2012, Art Shot aims to produce visually engaging animations with the potential for international co-production and distribution. Also Agnė is one of the co-founders and board members of the Lithuanian Animation Association.
