DSAF
Slovene Animated Film Association (DSAF) is an animation guild, bringing together authors, producers, various film professionals and others with a view to representing our common interests in animated film in the national and international environment. Since foundation in 2011, we have been organising and executing many promotional activities aimed at the general and expert publics, building and conducting dialogue with public institutes and decision makers; we have been presenting the highest national industry awards for animated film, ensuring the exchange of information between our members, as well as organising meetings and gatherings for society members. In the national environment, we have been engaging with related organisations, since 2017 also as cofounders and members of the general assembly of the Alliance of Slovenian Associations of Filmmakers, the umbrella organisation for the audio-visual sector. We have also been forming ties abroad: as a leading partner in the CEE Animation international organization, we are responsible for projects enabling access to international markets, and educational events, which have also been supported by the European Commission.
CEE Animation
brings together regional activities for promotion and development of animation and its talents in more than 20 countries of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). It is an efficient network integrating national animation associations, producers, and studios, as well as authors, creating concrete opportunities for connecting and cooperating. It seeks to increase professional experience, to present the abilities of filmmakers and producers, and improve the quality of content and the visual side of projects.
